4th grade students likes basketball a lot and they are working on it, but 5th and 6th grade are learning a lot  about baseball.

Hello everyone!

Congratulations, you finished the school year and it is now summer! Everyone did a great job learning English this year. I had so much teaching you all and I am very excited to teach you again during the next school year. I hope you are excited too!

Today is going to be our last song until the next school year. This song is very famous because of the movie Toy Story. Do you know Toy Story? Do you like Toy Story?

Hello everyone!

How are you doing today? I hope you are doing well. I am very happy that we are now in Phase 2! The song we are going to listen to this week some of you may already know – well, maybe you know the singer. The song is called “Adore You” by Harry Styles. Do you know Harry Styles? He was in One Direction for a long time. They were very famous in the United States. I think they were also very famous in the rest of the world too. Did you like One Direction? Don’t worry if you didn’t, Harry’s music now is different from One Direction. It is in the pop genre but some of his songs could also be in the alternative genre.

Their music fits into the indie genre, so most of the music has a slow pace. I chose this song because it makes me feel happy when I listen to it. How does it make you feel?

One interesting fact about the band is the lead singer of the band, Zooey Deschanel, is a popular actress in the United States. One of her most famous movies is “Elf.” Do you know Elf? It’s a Christmas movie that is popular in the United States.
