Kate summer holidays!

Hello everyone!

Congratulations, you finished the school year and it is now summer! Everyone did a great job learning English this year. I had so much teaching you all and I am very excited to teach you again during the next school year. I hope you are excited too!

Today is going to be our last song until the next school year. This song is very famous because of the movie Toy Story. Do you know Toy Story? Do you like Toy Story?

The song is called “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” by Randy Newman and Lyle Lovett. I hope that you enjoy the song.

Kate's new song (3rd)

Hello everyone!

How are you doing today? I hope you are doing well. I am very happy that we are now in Phase 2! The song we are going to listen to this week some of you may already know – well, maybe you know the singer. The song is called “Adore You” by Harry Styles. Do you know Harry Styles? He was in One Direction for a long time. They were very famous in the United States. I think they were also very famous in the rest of the world too. Did you like One Direction? Don’t worry if you didn’t, Harry’s music now is different from One Direction. It is in the pop genre but some of his songs could also be in the alternative genre.

Que tal? Espero que estéis  muy bien. Estoy muy feliz porque comenzamos la Fase 2! La cancion que vamos a escuchar esta semana es posible que alguno de vosotros la conozca, y si no, seguro que conocéis a la cantante. 

La cancion es “Adore You” por Haryy Styles. Conocéis a Harry Styles? Estuvo en el grupo One Direction. Ellos fueron muy famoso en Estados Unidos. Creo que lo fueron en otras partes del mundo tambien. 

Os gustaba One Direction? La musica de Harry es un poco diferente ahora, que la musica que cantaba en One Direction. Es un pop pero algunas cancions puede ser alternative.
